Snow Crystals/ Sizzlers
Always ensure your Burner is suitable for Sizzlers/ Snow Crystals (10cm+ gap from tea light to wax burner well). Oil Burners can cause the sizzlers to overheat and in some cases catch fire or cause the burner to break whilst in use.
Place 1-2 teaspoons of the sizzlers/ snow crystals in the well of your burner.
Always use an unscented 4 hour tea light. 8 hour tea lights can overheat the sizzlers and also cause small cracks in your burner;
Always check your burner for small cracks as failure to do so could cause oil to seep through and land on the naked flame of the tea light where it can ignite. If you notice beads of wax forming on the outside of the burner (excluding the well) then this is a sign your burner has a hairline crack in it and needs to be replaced.
Change your sizzlers after every 4 hours. Snow Crystals can be changed when scent diminishes, which could be up to 3 x 4 hour burns;
Allow burner to fully cool and then carefully remove the remaining sizzler simmering granules from the well of the burner. Dispose in line with local refuse guidance. Please refer to the wax melt guidance on how to remove the snow crystals;
Never leave a lit burner in reach of pets or children;
Never leave a lit burner unattended or in a draft as this can the flame to come into contact with a flammable material such as curtains, children’s clothing, pet hair, etc;
Always allow your burner time to fully cool before touching as they can become very hot whilst the tea light is still lit and/or when the was is molten;
Never add water to your sizzlers/ snow crystals and ensure your burner is fully dry before use;
Keep out of reach from children and pets;
Always use gloves when coming into contact with any fragranced wax or sizzlers as you can experience a reaction to the physical contact with fragranced substances in a different way to inhalation;
Always be careful to not spill the product and clean up any accidental spillage immediately to avoid any damage to clothing, furniture, carpet and / upholstery.
Please remember if you spill hot fragranced wax over your skin and it causes a burn then you should seek medical advice and inform your health care professionals of the allergens listed on the label attached to your product. If you have thrown your packaging away then this information can be found here.
Where possible always store your sizzlers / snow crystals in an airtight container if removed out of the packaging;
Always store your sizzlers / snow crystals in a cool, dark and dry cupboard (don not store in the fridge);
Never allow different scented/ branded sizzlers/ snow crystals to come into physical contact with each other. This is for your safety as each fragrance contains different chemicals which have been carefully mixed and analysed to ensure that each package of sizzlers / snow crystals is safe for you to use.
Sizzlers / Snow Crystals can last up to 3 months and sometimes longer if they are stored correctly.
- I have melted my snow crystals and they have hardened like normal wax? Yes, This is perfectly normal. Your wax is now permeating the left over fragrance from the last burn to provide you with ongoing fragrance for your next burn.
- Why do my snow crystals feel oily? This wax works by the granules being coated in the fragrance until it melts. After the first melt the Fragrance Oil will be absorbed in to the wax and will no longer feel this way.
- Can I place these snow crystals in a combustible container and use it as a candle? If you are planning on making your crystals in to a candle then please leave a message for us at checkout. We will need to change the dye within the candle so it does not clog your wick.

Toilet Fizzes can last up to 3 months and sometimes longer if they are stored correctly;
Toilet Fizzes can take up to 5 days to cure. The longer they are left the stronger the scent;
The colour of the product is white, however, some fragrance oils can cause discolouration which is a perfectly normal chemical reaction.
- Why is there black spots forming on my toilet Fizzes?
Please don’t worry, our fragrance oils are made up using various different ingredients. In some cases one or two of those ingredients when interacting with other agents can cause a colour change to start occurring over time. It does not affect the performance of your toilet fizzers.
- Why do my toilet Fizzers fizz?
It is a chemical reaction caused when one of the ingredients we use interacts with water and air. It has actually no purpose at all as to the effectiveness of your product it is just simply occurs.
- My toilet fizzers did not fizz very much, why is this? The amount of fizzing is dependent on how tightly packed you fizzer has been made. In this circumstance less fizzing means more product as there are less air holes inside the fizzer. As our items are handmade it is impossible to create two the same so each one will be different but the same ratio of fragrance is present in all.
- I can’t see any fizzing at all. Is my product faulty?
The simple answer to this is no. Depending on where the fizzer lands the fizz will sometimes show itself at the drain side of the toilet which is out of site. This will not affect the performance as it is the fragrance oil that creates the fragrance and as the fizzer disperses it will travel to all areas of the water. - I used my toilet fizzer after my partner went for a poo and it did not work. I think my item is faulty?
These fizzers are not designed to work like spray air fresheners. They are used to change the background scent of the bathroom where often the odour of the room is affected by damp towels, regular bathing, showering and washing. If you have a large bathroom you may need slightly more product and always remember to pour warm water in to the toilet pan before using as the intensity of the fragrance is enhanced when it is warm. - Can I use this with bleach or other toilet cleaning chemicals?
Our products have been carefully analysed by qualified chemists. If you mix our products with other chemicals you are adding new ingredients which could interact negatively or increase ingredients to unsafe levels. We strongly advise against this.

Wax Melts
Always ensure your Burner is suitable for Wax Melts. Oil Burners can cause the wax to overheat and in some cases catch fire or cause the burner to break whilst in use.
Remove all packaging before placing the wax melt in the well of your burner.
Always use an unscented 4 hour tea light. 8 hour tea lights can overheat the wax and also cause small cracks in your wax burner;
Allow wax to fully cool between tea light changes to prevent the wax from overheating and subsequently leaving you with a burnt smell to your fragrance;
Never leave a wax melt burner in reach of pets or children;
Never leave a lit wax burner unattended or in a draft as this can the flame to come into contact with a flammable material such as curtains, children’s clothing, pet hair, etc;
Always allow your wax burner time to fully cool before touching as they can become very hot whilst the tea light is still lit and/or when the was is molten;
Never add water to your wax and ensure your burner is fully dry before adding was as this can cause your molten wax to spit out hot liquid on to surrounding objects;
Always use a minimum of 7g of wax in your well to ensure the well does not overheat/ dry burn. When adding more please ensure the well has enough space to hold the wax when it is molten;
If you notice colour wax beads forming on the outside of the wax burner it is likely that you have small hairline cracks forming and it is now time to invest in a new Wax Burner.
Always use gloves when coming into contact with any fragranced wax as you can experience a reaction to the physical contact with fragranced substances in a different way to inhalation;
Wax melts can take up to two weeks to cure. The longer they are left the stronger the scent becomes. Where you have ordered made to order wax melts please ensure you leave sufficient enough time for this curing process to occur.
You can either:
Allow your wax to melt as normal and use cotton wool balls to soak the molten wax up from the wax burner well (Be careful to ensure you allow the wax to cool enough so not to burn your fingers)
or
Allow your wax to warm for 30-60 seconds after lighting the Tea light or switching on the electric burner. Using your finger gently slide the wax out ensuring to be careful regarding any molten wax at the bottom does not drip.
- What is the best burner to use, tea light or electric?
Although our products work in both we recommend you use a tea light burner to optimise the intensity of the fragrance. Electric burners operate using varying wattage bulbs which means some don’t heat up the wax as much as others. Remember that flame is fire and there is no stronger heat than this. - Why can’t I keep all my wax melts in one box?
If they are kept in their original packaging and the wax itself does not come in to contact with another wax melt then this is fine. If however they are wrapped in tissue or paper or simply left touching each other the chemicals in the fragrance can transfer between each other. Not only will this alter the scent of your wax melts it could create a reaction that is not safe to use. - Are wax melts/ scented candles safe to use around pets?
Like humans can have allergies and sensitivities so can our pets. You will need to apply the same diligence to your pets as you due to the rest of the household when using other household cleaning products and get advice from your vet if you have any concerns. - How do I know it’s time to change the wax melt?
All fragrances function slightly differently so there will be varying intensity and duration of scent. When you notice that the fragrance is no longer there when you warm the wax it’s time to change it over. - Can I add fragrance oil, perfume, disinfectant or fabric softener to my wax melt?
No. This is extremely dangerous. Wax melts require carefully added ratios and ingredients to wax that have been analysed by trained chemists. By adding more chemicals it can cause toxic fumes to travel around your home which can have a profound affect on your health. - What is the best way to remove wax from the well of your burner?
We recommend that you use cotton wool pads to soak up the wax when warm (you may need a couple) and when the wax has cooled enough remove this carefully. It is always good to have something close by to capture any drops of wax. Do not try and gouge out hard wax as you could injure yourself or damage the burner. - I have noticed wax on the outside of my burner. How is this happening?
Over time the burner can wear and develop tiny cracks where the wax escapes when warm. If you notice this occurring then it is time to buy yourself a new burner.
- Why can’t I use an 8 hour tea light?
There are several reasons for this. After being a light for 4 hours the fragrance oil will need to cool back down before it reaches a level where it can become flammable. Your burner also needs to cool down or it could crack and leak wax with fragrance oil directly on to the flame. The wax itself can burn which will alter the fragrance you smell to a not so pleasant one. Remember, the wax used to make wax melts is different to candle wax. Wax melts are not designed to come in to direct contact with a flame. - Why can’t I put my wax burner on the window sill?
The heat generated by the sun through glass, even on a cold day, can light the Tealight and also cause the wax itself to overheat and catch fire. - Are wax melts safe to use with my health condition?
You will need to speak with your doctor, only they can answer this question and give you the appropriate advice.
